Tao’s Center, in cooperation with EllaYoga, is happy and honored to host Maty Ezraty for a 4-day yoga workshop in Paros.


Maty Ezraty is a world known yoga teacher and one of the prominent figures in the yoga-world. She is known for her dynamic style of teaching and for the extent and depth of her knowledge, that she has accumulated during  many years of practice and teaching.

Maty studied with a few of the worlds most renowned teachers during the 80’s – Dona Holleman, Gabriella Giubilaro and Pattabhi Jois. Her encounter with Pattabhi Jois led to an extensive study and practice, mainly in Mysore India, becoming one of a handful of women who completed his advanced sequences.


Maty began teaching yoga in 1985 and in 1987 she opened Yoga Works, a yoga school offering a wide variety of styles of yoga. Maty and Yoga Works are both prominent factors and influences in the evolution of yoga in the United States.

Today, Maty holds workshops, retreats and teacher trainings internationally and is a student of Vipassana meditation. She continues to be inspired by her many years of practice and is devoted to bringing the spirit of yoga and her love of meditation to all her students.


The 4-day workshop in Tao’s has the following daily schedule:

08:00-10:30  Morning practice

10:30  Brunch

17:00-19:00  Afternoon practice

19:00  Dinner

The workshop is meant for students with prior of (at least) 2 years of regular practice.
