Tao’s Center is happy to host Dimitra Zirou for her 3-day Tai Chi Chuan & Qi Gong seminar, part of our Workshops and Retreats program.
Tai Chi Chuan is one of the oldest Chinese martial arts, having its roots in the philosophy of Tao – The Way – and refers to the primordial force that exists behind all phenomena.
The ancient Taoist term Wu reflects the concept of the formless but creative void, the creative source of all phenomena. The relationship between Wu and the body, between the formless and what has form constitute the basic ground of both the philosophy and the movement of Tai Chi.
In this 3-day-seminar we will work with the basic concept of Wu Wei (action through emptiness) and the way that it manifests itself through the various nuances of T’ai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong practice. The seminar is meant for those who want to evolve in their practice of Tai Chi.
The 3-day seminar schedule consists of a three afternoon sessions, 18:00-20:00.
During the 3-day seminar, a Buddhist Teaching and Meditation retreat is taking place, which is complementary and can be combined with the seminar as the schedules of both events combine with each other.
Price for both retreats: 150€ (including daily lunch)
