Ohad Fishof

Ohad Fishof is an artist and musician working in a diverse range of fields including sound, dance, video, performance and installation.

 

Fishof began his artistic career as a musician with the pioneering Israeli band Nosei Hamigbaat. He later moved to compose music for dance, performance and art installations and since he has been consistently expanding his work, ranging from improvised music to site-specific work, video animation, dance pieces and soundtrack work.

 

Fishof became a collaborator of Batsheva Dance Company and worked closely with Ohad Naharin – the creator of Gaga movement language – as a soundtrack designer, music director and dramaturge. Since 2004 he is a teacher of Gaga as well as dance, performance and audio master classes and workshops.

 

Currently he is creating music, dance & performance in Israel and world-wide, as well as teaching at Bezalel Academy for Art & Design and at Hamidrasha Art School in Israel.
