Movement Improvisation with Ilanit Tadmor & Liron Miyara is a 5-day retreat, exploring and practicing awareness and presence through body and movement.
The retreat offers a unique approach, combining deep movement practice, playfulness, creativity and human connection. These will create a gentle shift in the way you experience yourself.
Each day begins with simple physical practice, suitable for all levels, awakening the body through sequences that connect breath, awareness and movement. From there, we continue into the PLAY movement language, a practice developed by Ilanit, an outcome of a research of improvisation, movement and community work.
Some of the sessions will be outdoors, practicing in nature and by the sea, allowing the landscape, the sounds and the open space to become part of the experience.
Ilanit Tadmor is a senior movement improvisation teacher, choreographer and community creator with many years of experience, teaching diverse groups in Israel and all around the world. More about Ilanit in her Teacher page.
Liron Miyara is the founder of Tamara studio and Dance School in Israel. She brings together years of teaching experience, facilitation, and group process work. More about Liron and Tamara Studio on Instagram.
The 5-day retreat daily schedule consists of morning, noon and afternoon sessions, light breakfast and lunch. An Intro session will take place on September 14, 18:00, open to anyone who wants to join. Check this link for detailed retreat schedule.
